Yayasan Keanekaragaman Hayati Indonesia (KEHATI) a well known, independent, not for profit, self-sustained national grant-making foundation, acting as the Administrator of a Debt for Nature Swap (DNS) Program of Tropical Forest Conservation Program (TFCA) 2 for Kalimantan, is now inviting professionals to apply for a full-time position as:
1. Program Director for Tropical Forest Conservation Program-2
Responsible directly to the Executive Director of KEHATI and under the supervision of TFCA2 Oversight Committee, the Program Director will direct tropical forest conservation program in Kalimantan. The main responsibilities are to administer grants to civil society to undertake forest conservation and forest climate change activities through the development and execution of TFCA2 Implementation Plan, establishment and maintenance of collaborative efforts with key stakeholders, and managing resources for program supports. Requirements:
• Possess minimum post graduate degree from reputable University in Indonesia or overseas.
• Has at least 10 years professional experience in managing institution, preferably in a national or international non-profit organization.
• Has advanced knowledge and skills to perform, direct and supervise forest conservation program and or climate change mitigation on forestry.
• Has advanced knowledge and skills or experiences on project design, including project monitoring and evaluation to achieve impacts.
• Has knowledge and understanding on forest climate issues (REDD), economic development & policies, especially those that are related to development policies, forestry and climate change mitigation policies, as well as on local community and public services.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with multi-stakeholders both in internal and external to achieve the program goals, objectives and priorities.
• Be proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English both orally and in writing
2. Forest Conservation and Climate Change Specialist
Responsible directly to the Program Director with main responsibilities are to be in charge with development and implementation of TFCA2 Implementation Plan, including Monitoring and Evaluation of the program and projects in the field and managing program reporting. He or she will also maintain close cooperation and partnership with Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) specifically assigned to assist grantees on the ground. Requirements:
• Possess minimum Master Degree (or equal) on Forestry, Conservation Biology, Agro-Climatology or other biological and climatic related education;
• Has experiences in the management and development of program/projects on tropical forest conservation and or forest climate related activities (including but not limited to wildlife and ecosystem conservation, protected areas management, and REDD demonstration activities or similar activities);
• Posess sufficient knowledge on project management, including project design, monitoring and evaluation and report writing;
• Familiar with Government Policies on forest conservation and climate change at the central and local levels;
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills to deal with multi stakeholders to achieve the program goals, objectives and priorities;
• Be proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English both orally and in writing.
3. Assistant to Program Director/Grant Manager
Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors. His/her responsibilities also includes grant management and administration of forest conservation program/projects in Kalimantan, as well as managing an effective relation and communication with grantees and other stakeholders. Requirements:
• Minimum a bachelor degree (S1) in Management/ Forestry;
• Posses at least five years experience in administering grants of donor (grant making) organization;
• Understand basic accounting principles and financial audit;
• Able to facilitate NGOs/Community Organization/ research organization in the management of program and grants;
• Excellent communication skill and able to communicate with multi-stakeholders program;
• Be proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English both orally and in writing;
• Understand strategy on capacity building of human resources and institution of local non-government organizations.
4. Communication and Outreach Officer
Responsible directly to the Program Director with the main responsibilities are to maintain all Communication and Outreach activities of TFCA Kalimantan. Requirements:
• Minimum a bachelor degree (S1) in any discipline
• Have excellent communications & presentation skill and fluent in english (written & Spoken)
• Have a good networking, preferably on forestry conservation.
• Familiar with desktop publishing

5. Finance Officer
• Minimum Bachelor degree (S 1) majoring Accounting/Finance from reputable university
• Have Experience 2-5 years at the same position
• Having good skill in computer applications
• Performing finance duties; petty cash, payments, collections, etc
6. Secretary
• Sound knowledge of filling system and administrative duties
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• At least Diploma in Secretary and Fluent in English (written & spoken)
• At least 2 years relevant working experiences as Secretary
