Technical and Project Support Experts for

USAID – ASEAN-U.S. Partnership for Good Governance, Equitable and Sustainable Development and Security (ASEAN-U.S. PROGRESS)

 

Chemonics International, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks multiple technical and support division candidates for the anticipated USAID-funded ASEAN-U.S. PROGRESS project, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This expected program seeks to support and enhance ASEAN's capacity to advance good governance and regional security, and to promote equitable and sustainable human development in Southeast Asia in line with ASEAN Political-Security and Socio-Cultural Blueprints, as well as the ASEAN-U.S. Enhanced Partnership Plan of Action. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

 

Component Leads and Subject Matter Experts:

• ·       Monitoring and evaluation specialists
• ·       Human rights experts
• ·       Security specialists
• ·       Political economists
• ·       Regional governance experts
• ·       ASEAN specialists
• ·       Private Public Partnership specialists
• ·       Transnational crime experts
• ·       Gender specialists
• ·       Conflict and disaster management specialists

Qualifications for the above positions include the following:

• Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations, development, economics, human rights and related fields required; graduate degree preferred.  
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; 15 years for component leads
• Experience working with international donor-funded projects; USAID experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing and working with technical teams
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Fluency in English and one other ASEAN language required
