The Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation or Yayasan KEHATI is an independent, non-profit funding organization, dedicated to conserve Indonesia biodiversity resources and promote sustainable development

Due to the Foundation's current programs, we are inviting professionals to apply for a full-time position as:

1. ASSISTANT FORESTRY PROGRAM OFFICER (AFPO)

The Assistant Forestry Program Officer (AFP-Officer) is working directly with the Forestry Ecosystem Officer. The AFP-Officer is responsible to work in KEHATI Forest Ecosystem Conservation Program and other conservation program . The main task of the AFP-Officer is to provide technical assistance to the various KEHATI forestry program include the Green Corridor Initiative (GCI) Program. The GCI program is a new collaboration program between KEHATI and various stakeholders for developing a community based restoration program in Gunung Halimun Salak National Park. The program is funded by Chevron Geothermal Salak Ltd.

Key qualifications:

• Minimum a Bachelor degree (S-1) majoring in Forestry/Agriculture with 5 years experience in related field.
• Experience in managing large scale and multi stakeholder project.
• Have professional records and demonstrate a conceptual, managerial project development.
• Excellent communication skills and able to dealing with multi-stakeholders: government agencies, and local communities.
• Experience in relevant project activities including; monitoring, facilitating, reporting, and project evaluation.
• Strong Indonesian verbal and written skills and proficiency in English language.
• Able to operate Windows Application (Word, Excel, Power Point) and understand Basic GIS (Arc view or Arc GIS).

2. CONSERVATION ASSINTANT (CA)

The CA Responsible directly to the Program Director of Tropical Forest Conservation Program(TFCA Sumatra). The CA with Conservation Specialist will involve in developing and recommending regional goals, objectives and priorities of forest resource conservation program in Sumatera, as well as developing and recommending program rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.

Key qualifications:

• Minimum a bachelor degree (S1) in Biology/Forestry or any relevant field of study with at least one year professional experience in natural resource conservation activities (including forest, wild life, ecosystem and genetic and associated social and economic issues, preferably in the region of Sumatra.
• Understand forest conservation and management concept.
• Possessing knowledge and skills in developing and recommending program rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to set up monitoring and evaluation system, policy and procedures.
• Ability in operation GIS and Remote sensing software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with multi-stakeholders both in internal and external to achieve the program goals, objectives and priorities.
• Proficient in English both oral and written
• Willing to undertake out of town duties, including visiting remote areas with limited accessibility.

3. GRANT ADMINISTRATOR/ASSISTANT (GA)

The Grant Administration (GA) Responsible to Assisting program director in administering TFCA grants.

Key Qualification :
• Minimum bachelor degree (S 1) accounting
• As advantage if applicants possessing certification in Finance Management, administration, filling system, database
• Ability in operation computer programs such as MS office.
• Having an experience in administering grants
• Having knowledge in finance audit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with multi-stakeholders both in internal and external to achieve the program goals, objectives and priorities
• Proficient in English, speaking and writing
• Willing to work under pressure and overtime, if necessary.
• Ability to work both under minimum supervision and as part of a team
