MontD'Or Petroleum, the Operator of Tungkal Block and West Salawati Block are currently recruiting for three positions, Senior Financial Controller and HSSE Manager. Both positions require driven, self-motivated and highly qualified personnel to be part of the Mont D'or SE Asia team.

SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (National) – Jakarta Based
 
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure high quality in the financial reporting by financial controlling and supporting a portfolio of subsidiaries on accounting, financial reporting, audit and internal control matters both in relation to group reporting on a monthly, quarterly and statutory financial reporting
• Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting process along by working closely with the business
• Review, monitor and report monthly performance identifying variances to plan and opportunities for business improvement;
• VAT and other statutory returns
• Cash and foreign currency control including cash flow forecasts
• Responsibility for producing rolling profit forecasts and the annual budget process
• Control of our finance lease accounting processes
• Managing the annual external audit process
 
The Successful Applicant Will Have;
• Bachelor degree or higher in Business or related discipline (major in accounting, finance or similar).
• At least 20 - 25 years of strong financial, managerial and reporting experience within the Oil & Gas industry
• Demonstrated experience in managing statutory requirements
• Sound commercial and business acumen along with the ability to influence
• Strong knowledge of business processes with a track record of process improvement
 
 
HSSE MANAGER (National) – Jakarta Based
 
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and control proper implementation of company HSE standards, policies and procedures in daily field operations. This includes production, drilling and well service activities.
• Develop and implement schedule for internal HSE audits. make recommendations to improve any shortfalls and deficiencies identified.
• Coordinate all necessary housekeeping and environmental works such as; clean-up of scrap metal and materials, waste water management including treatment process and analysis of wastewater on a routine basis.
• Prepare required support documents and information for obtaining permits and licenses from SKKMigas, Forestry, Environment Protection and other relative governmental agencies.
• Coordinate and participate in periodic review of documentation such as the HSE Manual, Emergency Response Plan, and drills for ERP, fire, production and drilling operations.
• Coordinate and participate in HSE committee work, report on any incidents, implementation status of HSE procedures, and fulfillment of HSE improvement plans.
• Organize and conduct Fire safety inspections in the field, report on deficiencies, recommend improvement actions, as well as, reward positive actions..
• Coordinate with field operations the safe handling of explosives (distribution, transportation, maintenance of records), and collaboration with local Police
• Coordinate completion of the Environmental Monitoring Program in the field. Assist contractor with sampling, testing, collection of data for environmental impact evaluation
 
The Successful Applicant Will Have;
• Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering or Science or related discipline.
• At least 20 - 25 years of relevant health, safety, security and environmental experience with proven managerial and reporting practise within the Oil & Gas industry
• Demonstrated experience in managing statutory requirements
• Sound commercial and business acumen along with the ability to influence
• Strong knowledge of health and safety processes with a track record of process improvement
 
 
SENIOR EXPLORATION GEOPHYSICIST (National) – Jakarta Based
 
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Exploration Geophysicist will perform all aspects of the discipline including geophysical parameter testing and evaluating new software methodologies identifying and suggesting geophysical products that could yield added value to clients on projects, ensuring maximum efficiency in geophysical projects. Perform all aspects of 2D and 3D seismic interpretation, risk and uncertainty analysis, volumetric estimation, well planning and participation in meetings with SKKMIGAS and partners.
 
• Perform all aspects of 2D and 3D land and marine seismic data processing.
• Perform geophysical parameter testing as appropriate on assigned projects.
• Perform data analysis and QC (quality control) at all stages of processing and imaging.
• Coordinate with other technical personnel to ensure maximum efficiency in running projects.
• Support testing and evaluating of new software and methodologies. Produce presentations of the outcome of the geophysical studies for review by management
 
The Successful Applicant Will Have;
• Bachelor degree or higher in Geophysical Science, or other relevant subject, minimum of 15 years industry experience
• Proven track record of exploration success
• Good understanding of subsurface tools, interpretation techniques, depth conversion, seismic acquisition and processing experience
• Demonstrated experience in managing statutory requirements
