Java Programmers

Responsibilities:
This position requires you to create java application (Web or non Web) based on user requirement and to maintain existing java applications.
Requirements:
• Minimum D3 degree or Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year experience in J2EE development
• Experience in java programming language in general
• Familiar in EJB3 or Hibernate is a plus
• Experience in one of java framework i.e., seam, struts, spring is a plus
• Good in SQL syntax
• Familiar with any DB engine i.e., My SQL, ORACLE, etc
• Sound understanding and knowledge of developing web UI components using HTML, X/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Sound understanding and knowledge of AJAX/JavaScript framework (JQuery, Dojo, GWT, etc)
• Good understanding of JSON, XML and DOM
• Familiarity with unix, linux, mac development environment
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (XP or Scrum), Test Driven Development (TDD), etc.
• Sound understanding and knowledge of Java servlet containers (Tomcat, Jetty) configuration and programming
• Able to handle the pressure of a tight deadline with minimum supervision
• Good team player and proactive person
