As an integrated "farmer to bar" chocolate maker, Krakakoa eliminates many intermediaries between farmers and the market, which allows us to bring significant economic value back to farmers.

And we believe manufacturing and processing is an important contributor to economic growth. Our mission is to put our beliefs into action and change the way food production systems impact people and the planet, starting with cocoa.

Today, we are the only Indonesian chocolate maker to win medals at the Academy of Chocolate awards, while our products are for sale in Singapore, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Czech Republic. We have trained nearly 1,000 local farmers and increased their total income by over Rp 500 million. We work with environmental NGOs such as WWF and we produce all our chocolate in our own factory in Bandar Lampung.

Krakakoa is looking for a production manager to be based at our factory in Lampung.. The production manager will be responsible to manage, oversee, and improve Krakakoa's production activities as well as to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness to meet the production target.

Requirements

·           At least 5 years' experience in food manufacturing company

·           At least 3 years' experience leading a food production manufacturing team

·           Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia

·           Detailed and target oriented

·           Self-starter, comfortable to work under minimum guidance and supervision

Responsibilities

1.      Ensure that production targets are met

·        Coordinate with the sales team and agree weekly production targets.

·        Create production schedule and monitor implementation of schedule

2.      Ensure that production is running smoothly

·        Ensure sufficient inventory of raw materials and packaging

·        Sourcing of new machinery to meet increased production targets

·        Create schedule for and oversee machinery maintenance

·        Overseeing machine repairs

·        Review and improve on production SOP to ensure maximum efficiency

3.      Manage production team members

·        Hiring and training of new team members

·        Ensure that team adheres to production SOP

·        Providing feedback and coaching to team member

4.      Ensure accuracy of production and materials usage records

·        Cross check production record data to ensure accuracy

·        Cross check materials usage record data to ensure accuracy and the usage's efficiency

5.      Quality control and regulatory requirements

·        Develop improved SOP for quality control and food safety requirements

·        Oversee proper adherence to QC and foods safety SOP

·        Fulfill administrative requirements for relevant certifications (HACCP, Halal, BPOM)

6.      General planning and reporting

·        Evaluate and prepare regular production reports to the management team

·        Oversee budget planning and reporting prepared by the adm
